Making the Most of Every Click

Let’s face it, in a perfect world every click/visit that your ad or website receives would result in a sale. Unfortunately, that’s not the world in which we live, therefore; online marketers realistically set their sights on what they consider to be more attainable goals. Truth is, even if you don't win a conversion with every click, they shouldn't be considered a loss either. The silver lining here is that in every click there is opportunity for growth, when they are cultivated properly. Even untargeted clicks can help us gain valuable insight such as what message our ad may actually be sending and what areas may require adjustment. This further accentuates the value in using an aggressive traffic generation method such as Pay-per-click marketing.

Traffic generation is the lifeline of any web-based business as it is obvious that online success can not be achieved without it. There are multiple benefits to having your website enjoy a consistent influx of newly acquired visitors. Aside from the most obvious being an increase in conversion potential, high traffic volume can also serve as an effective tool for lead generation. PPC traffic combined with a website configured to capture visitor data, i.e. email addresses, phone numbers, mailing information, buying interests, etc. can essentially increase your advertising ROI. Clicks that may not have initially ended with a conversion can either be put back in your sales funnel for future marketing efforts or analyzed for information that will help improve the visitors overall experience on your site. Simply find a way to make your site traffic pay for itself in the form of either knowledge or conversions.

Pay-per-click advertising takes all of the guesswork out of getting your website noticed, but you are then faced with the task of getting the most out of each and every visit your site receives. Provide an easy-to-use, interactive way of encouraging visitors to communicate the pros and cons of your site. Once thoroughly reviewed, implement adjustments in those areas that seem to deter your visitors the most while highlighting what they view to be most impressive. Utilizing this approach allows you to extract some degree of value from every click received whether it converts or not.
