Bring your Best!

You see a lot of things working in the Search Marketing industry. Gaudy design, outrageous claims, text in a small size or hard-to-see colors, repeated attention-grabbing keywords, overused meta tags, and excessive punctuation to name a few. And most times these tactics are used by companies or individuals trying to influence a specific result such as top search engine rankings or to attract customers.

Ironically, many of these obviously deceptive tactics don’t work. And the ones that do work often don’t work long and end up damaging the credibility of the business. As Search Engine users become savvier and Search Engines more sophisticated why even risk it?

Our advice; Bring your best game. Online, the world is your competition as well as your critic. If you come ill prepared, if you think you can deceive people there’s a good chance it will fail. But even worse, your business and brand may be damaged. So ask yourself before you put up a website which has poor design, nonsensical text, or desperate attempts to attract customers… is it worth it?
